Nine years at a small studio where small teams cover everything. Logos, websites, brand guides, corporate documents, Shopify builds, pitch decks, motion design. You learn to think across disciplines and come out with a broader eye than most.

In practice that meant building websites on Divi and WordPress, designing on Shopify, putting together brand guides and whitepapers for corporate clients, and dabbling in motion design along the way.

What I came to love most was the end-to-end web project. A brand that already had something to say, handed to me to build a site that said it clearly. That became the thing I wanted to do properly.

When you work with Altimit, you work with me directly. No account managers, no junior designers doing the build while a senior signs off. Just one designer, fully invested, from the first conversation to the final handover.

That also means you get someone who overthinks things by nature. In most areas of life that's a mixed blessing. In web design it turns out to be a positive...for the most part. Running through edge cases before they become problems. Questioning layout decisions before a client has to. Noticing what's slightly off before anyone else does. The designers who don't sweat the details are the ones whose work needs fixing six months later. I'd rather sweat them now.
